The SolaX T-BAT H 5.8(H) V3 is a modular high-voltage LiFePO4 battery system designed for residential solar PV and energy storage applications where scalability, safety and flexible installation are important.
The platform starts at 5.8 kWh and can be expanded to 34.6 kWh in a single battery cluster. With compatible SolaX inverters equipped with two battery ports, total capacity can reach 69.1 kWh. The battery uses LFP chemistry, offers 95% depth of discharge and is rated for more than 6,000 cycles under the manufacturer’s specified test conditions.
The base T-BAT H 5.8(H) V3 system operates at 115.2 V nominal voltage and provides 5.5 kWh of usable energy. Larger configurations scale through 11.5, 17.3, 23.0, 28.8 and 34.6 kWh nominal capacities, with usable energy reaching 32.9 kWh at the top end. Rated charge and discharge power rises with system size, from 2.9 kW for the 5.8 kWh configuration to 17.3 kW for 34.6 kWh, while maximum charge/discharge power reaches 24.2 kW. Recommended charge/discharge current is 25 A and the stated maximum is 35 A.
For solar installers, the T-BAT H 5.8(H) V3 offers practical flexibility. It supports wall or floor mounting, carries an IP66 ingress protection rating and is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. The heated H version extends operation in cold environments, with charging and discharging possible down to -30°C when the heating function is active. Communication is handled through CAN 2.0 and RS485, while remote fault diagnosis, software upgrades and maintenance support faster troubleshooting.
Safety is built around LiFePO4 cells, high-performance processors and aerosol fire suppression. The datasheet lists IEC 62619, IEC 63056, IEC 60730, IEC 62040, IEC 61000-1&-3, EN 62477, VDE 2510 and UN38.3.
