The Solplanet ASW8000H-T3 AFCI asymmetric is an advanced 8kW three-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential and small commercial solar PV systems with energy storage. With up to 12000Wp PV array power, 1100V maximum DC input, 3 independent MPPT trackers, and 16A input current per MPPT, it offers flexible solar panel design for modern rooftops, bifacial modules, and multi-orientation PV arrays. The inverter supports high-voltage LiFePO4 batteries from 120V to 600V and delivers up to 8000W charging and discharging power, making it a strong solution for complete solar kits and energy storage systems. In EPS mode, the ASW8000H-T3 supports 100% unbalanced three-phase AC output, helping critical loads operate more flexibly during grid outages. With UPS-level switching below 10ms, IP66 protection, natural convection cooling, CAN BMS, RS485 smart meter interface, WiFi/LAN communication, and Solplanet App setup, it is ideal for solar installers, solar wholesalers, solar distributors, and professional PV projects.
AFCI in solar inverters means Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter, a safety function that detects dangerous electrical arcs on the DC side of a solar PV system. If an arc fault is detected, the solar inverter can shut down the circuit to reduce fire risk.
