Product Description

The SolaX X3-Hybrid-6.0-M G4 is a high-performance 6kW three-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential and light commercial solar PV systems that require efficient energy storage, intelligent energy management and reliable backup power. As part of the fourth-generation SolaX X3-Hybrid range, it combines photovoltaic generation, battery charging and discharging, grid interaction and EPS backup functionality in one compact inverter platform.

The 6kW model supports a maximum PV array power of 12,000Wp, providing substantial oversizing capability for systems designed to maximise solar generation across varying weather and irradiance conditions. The inverter uses two independent MPPT trackers, each supporting one PV string on the 6kW version. Maximum input current is 16A / 16A, while maximum short-circuit current is 20A / 20A. The MPPT operating range extends from 180V to 950V, with a maximum PV input voltage of 1000V, making the inverter suitable for modern high-power solar panels and flexible string layouts.

On the AC side, the X3-Hybrid-6.0-M delivers 6,000W nominal output power and up to 6,600VA maximum AC output apparent power. Maximum AC output current is 9.7A, while the inverter supports three-phase grid configurations of 415/240V, 400/230V and 380/220V at 50/60Hz. The displacement power factor is adjustable from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging, while rated-power THDi remains below 3%.

For energy storage, the inverter supports both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries within a 180–800V battery voltage range. Maximum continuous charge and discharge current is 30A. According to the datasheet, maximum PV-to-battery efficiency reaches 98.5%, while battery-to-AC efficiency reaches 97.5%, helping reduce energy losses during daily charge and discharge cycles.

Backup performance is one of the key strengths of the X3-Hybrid G4 platform. The 6kW model provides 6,000W nominal EPS output power and up to 12,000VA peak apparent power for 10 seconds, with a maximum continuous EPS current of 8.7A. The switch time is specified at less than 10ms, helping maintain continuity of supply during grid outages when used with a suitable battery system. Parallel operation is supported, providing additional flexibility for larger installations.

The inverter achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.0% and a European efficiency of 97.7%. It features IP65 protection, natural cooling and an operating temperature range from -35°C to +60°C, with derating above +45°C. The unit measures 503 × 503 × 199mm and weighs approximately 30kg, offering a compact installation footprint for professional solar PV projects.

Smart functionality includes five work modes, two charging periods, intelligent load management, CT or meter compatibility, three-phase unbalanced output and VPP-ready functionality. Communication interfaces include RS485, Pocket WiFi, optional Pocket LAN or 4G, DRM, USB upgrade and optional NTC. With high PV input capability, high-voltage battery compatibility and fast EPS backup, the SolaX X3-Hybrid-6.0-M G4 is a strong choice for residential solar battery systems, energy storage projects and complete solar kits requiring reliable three-phase hybrid operation.
